An unlikely remnant of notorious serial killer Rose West's wardrobe from her life behind bars is available for the general public to see.
The murderer's underwear is on display at one little known museum in England, after its curator splashed an extraordinary £2,500 on the kickers.
Along Hastings' seafront is the True Crime Museum where you can get uncomfortably close to one half of the pair responsible for a slew of .
Museum curator Joel Griggs, splashed out £2,500 to get hold of the knickers once worn by West, in the name of his museum's tenth anniversary. The murderous wife, along with her husband Fred, tortured and killed at least 10 women.
Joel managed to get his hands on the undergarments after they were found at HMP Bronzefield – Europe's largest female prison and current residence of – where
Joel revealed: "A prison worker retrieved them from a laundry basket and later offered them to us for a ridiculous amount of money which we turned down at the time.

"Tiny squares of material from the knickers were then offered for sale on but because the sale contravened eBay's rules and procedures, the items were taken down and the sale never proceeded. On the underwear we have you can see small biro marks which the seller planned to cut around to sell off bit by bit.
"When our tenth anniversary came round I thought it would be worth contacting the prison worker, now retired, again, which I did and that resulted in us buying them for £2,500."
The museum has an eerie resemblance to the infamous 'House of Horrors' where most of West's victims were discovered in 1994.
Joel's collection includes the bathtub used by contract killer Bruce Childs to dismember six people, acid bottles used to dissolve victims, a variety of shanks, and triple murderer Louis Lefevre's skull.
However, West's underwear seems far less menacing compared to items belonging to infamous criminals like the Kray Twins, collected by Joel's father John during his time with the Metropolitan Police.
Joel added: "When you look at an exhibit like this, which appears banal at first, I think people then realise the connection with something." Last year marked thirty years since the married couple's crimes, which rocked the nation, where first discovered.
In 1984 the Wests were arrested at their family home in Cromwell Street, Gloucester, where they had raped and killed dozens. They were were arrested on suspicion of murdering their daughter on February 25, 1994, who had not been seen alive since 1987. The next day police found Heather's remains buried beneath the patio in their back garden.
Within two days, two more bodies were found in the garden - their former lodger Shirley Ann Robinson, who was 18 years old and pregnant, and Alison Chambers. Further grim discoveries were to follow, including body parts in the walls of their West Country town residence, which would later become known as the House of Horrors.
